My name is Gary Smith, the newly elected pastor of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church.

My wife, Annette, and I are presently residing in Whiteland, Indiana and commuting to Washington,

IL for Sunday services. Please pray for us during this transition period. Annette and I have four daughters and five grand daughters that reside in Indiana. We would ask prayer on their behalf.

The Lord graciously saved my soul at the age of ten and called me to preach in 1999. I was ordained to the full work of the ministry in November 2004 and was called to pastor Whiteland Missionary Baptist Church in Whiteland, Indiana shortly thereafter. I labored in that work for four and one half years until the Lord revealed to me it was time to move on. I have since been praying for the Lord to show me where that might be. Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church was the answer.

Pleasant Valley Church is a church holding on the truths handed down by Christ. We believe that a Godly Sorrow must be present before true felt Salvation can take place.  2 Corth. 7:10  Psalms 116:3

I believe the plan of Salvation was set up before the foundation of the world by God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This same plan is still available today to “who so ever will” come to Christ with a broken heart and a contrite spirit.
